It is with deep sadness that the New Zealand offshore powerboat racing community acknowledges the passing of John MacDonald, a highly respected and valued member of the sport. John’s contribution to NZ Offshore powerboat racing over many years was immense, and his presence within the community will be greatly missed.
Thoughts are with Anne, along with John’s family, friends, and the many people who had the privilege of knowing him throughout his life and his involvement in the sport.
John leaves behind a lasting legacy, and the community is encouraged to share their memories and stories in tribute to a man who touched the lives of so many.
