Surtees Boats is inviting prospective owners and boating enthusiasts to experience its renowned ride quality firsthand at a Demo Day on Saturday, 22 August, at Tauranga Bridge Marina.
Visitors will have the opportunity to get out on the water aboard the Surtees 720 Game Fisher Open and the popular 770 Game Fisher XL, with demonstrations running throughout the day. Designed to showcase the performance, stability and handling that have made the brand a favourite among New Zealand boaties, the event offers a valuable opportunity for those considering their first Surtees or planning an upgrade.
Places are limited and bookings are essential. For health and safety reasons, the event is restricted to those aged 13 years and over, and remains subject to suitable weather and sea conditions.
Surtees has also confirmed that entries are now open for its 22nd Annual Fishing Competition, taking place in Whakatāne from 18–20 February 2027.
The long-running event has become a highlight on the New Zealand fishing calendar, attracting passionate anglers from around the country.
