The 2026 Perth Boat Show has delivered a strong result, with attendance increasing significantly and exhibitors reporting positive sales, strong enquiry and quality leads across the three-day event. A total of 12,226 people attended the Show, representing an increase of approximately 20% on 2025. The result is particularly encouraging in the current economic climate and reflects the ongoing strength and resilience of Western Australia’s boating and marine industry.
A major highlight of the weekend was Father’s Day Sunday, which proved to be a strong drawcard for the event. Families embraced the opportunity to celebrate Dad with a day at the Perth Boat Show, contributing to a strong Sunday attendance and a vibrant atmosphere across the Show. The Father’s Day focus added another dimension to the event, broadening its appeal beyond traditional boating audiences and reinforcing the Perth Boat Show as a family-friendly experience as well as an important showcase for the marine industry.
Boating Industry Association of WA President, Tony Spiteri, welcomed the result.
“We are very pleased with the outcome for the industry,” Mr Spiteri said.
“The increase in attendance, together with the positive feedback from exhibitors, provides a strong indication of confidence in the local boating market and creates a positive lead-in to the summer boating season.
“It was also fantastic to see so many families enjoying the Show on Father’s Day. The strong Sunday turnout created a great atmosphere and was an excellent way to finish what was a very successful three days.”
The Perth Boat Show brought together a broad cross-section of Western Australia’s marine industry, giving visitors the opportunity to explore the latest boats, marine equipment, accessories and technology while speaking directly with manufacturers, dealers and industry specialists.
For exhibitors, the Show once again provided an important platform to connect directly with consumers, showcase new products and generate sales and leads ahead of the summer boating season. Following the success of the 2026 event, dates have now been confirmed for the 2027 Perth Boat Show, which will be held from 3–5 September 2027.
