Offshore Collective Launches New Rayglass Ownership Option

Former Rayglass Sales Manager Matt Flanagan has launched Offshore Collective, a fully managed shared ownership programme offering Auckland boaties a new way to enjoy a brand new Rayglass 3000 without the full financial and time commitments of outright ownership.

Offshore Collective offers six equal shares in each vessel over a three-year term, with storage, servicing, cleaning and insurance all managed. Based at Tamaki Marine Park, shareholders simply book their boating days through a dedicated app, step aboard and enjoy their time on the water. The venture is an approved Rayglass ownership partner, fully endorsed by Rayglass Boats. Each vessel is built and serviced by Rayglass throughout the ownership term, then refurbished by the manufacturer at its conclusion. Shareholders can then choose to move into a new boat or exit through a structured process.

With nearly a decade of experience at Rayglass, Flanagan developed the concept after recognising that many prospective owners wanted the boating lifestyle without the associated responsibilities. “Offshore Collective is everything I’ve learned, brought together in one experience: a brand new Rayglass, with less capital tied up and the admin handled for you,” says Flanagan.

The programme centres on the Rayglass 3000, a versatile 8–10m class vessel suited to fishing, diving, cruising and overnight stays in the Hauraki Gulf. Each boat will feature Mercury V10 power and Simrad navigation. The first Offshore Collective boats are scheduled for delivery in early 2027, with enquiries from prospective shareholders now open.
