Maritimo’s S50 Makes A Strong Americas Launch At Fort Lauderdale

Maritimo has finished a very successful Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), held 28 October to 1 November 2026. The Americas launch of its new S50 Sedan Motor Yacht drew big crowds, high praise and serious buyer interest across the whole range.

The Maritimo S50 was the star of the Maritimo stand. Buyers came over from many other brands to see the new model for themselves, and they praised its design, its styling and the size of its living spaces. Many were amazed at how large the interior is, especially the king-size bed in the master cabin and the exceptional headroom throughout.

Interest was strong across the full range of Maritimos, from the M50 and S50 to the M55 and M60. Deals were closed on the S50, M50, M55 and M60. The S50 launch also drew a great media turnout.

Growing in a challenging market

The wider US market has been softer this year, but Maritimo continues to buck the trend and grow its market share.

The brand’s reputation keeps growing for:

  • quality and seakeeping ability
  • after-sales support
  • working closely with customers on their individual requests, from first enquiry to handover
  • a stable, experienced sales team with strong goodwill in the market
  • bringing a new product to the US market every year, which is producing great results and strong media support

“Customer belief in Maritimo is on the rise and brand awareness is growing,” said Phil Chandler. “The performance of our boats has become a real talking point. New products with great style and design sell, and that’s exactly what buyers are responding to. It was windy and wet for much of the show, so these are great results considering the conditions. We’ll outsell our expectations, and that’s a good place to be.”

With strong interest in the Maritimo S50 and plenty of excitement about Maritimo’s upcoming new releases, the brand leaves Fort Lauderdale with real momentum heading into 2027.
