Accon Marine have released a new set of recessed bow and stern chocks to keep mooring lines from rubbing on the boat and also eliminate them as a snag hazard.
Pull-Up Line Chocks from Accon Marine solve this problem by retracting flush into the deck when not in use. While enhancing safety, they also contribute to a beautiful, sleek vessel profile.
Accon 500 Series Pull-Up Line Chocks are crafted from marine-grade 316 stainless steel for maximum durability and a lifetime of smooth operation. They’re available in both 114mm and 152mm sizes to accommodate rope diameters of up to 16mm and 19mm respectively.
For proper line alignment throughout the vessel, Accon offers port and starboard skene models, plus a straight version for stern use. Installation is easy; a template supplied with each unit facilitates the proper deck cut-out. The chock mounts with two stainless steel screws. An optional drain cup helps direct any collected water into the bilge or cockpit drain.
