Following the success of its DNA 450C, the company has released an upgraded model for 2021.
Features include offering more internal space with an increase of 70mm (now 1360mm) to the internal beam, wider top gunnels and larger rear platforms. The overall length of the 450CC is 4.6m overall with a beam increased from 1720mm to 1840mm. Other changes include a higher rear transom riser panel and taller and wider pontoons offering increased buoyancy.
The 450C also includes a full-width transom shelf (above the tote tank), and there is now space for a second tote tank if required. A full-width treadplate floor adds extra stiffness to the boat, and it features 8mm CNC cut plate handrails front and rear.
DNA’s entry-level cuddy model is big enough for three adults and provides excellent protection from the elements, a generous amount of dry storage in the bow under the cuddy for keeping gear dry, seats are on pedestals which also have storage incorporated. Being a fishing boat, there are four stainless rod holders provided as well as four cup holders. Other changes include a redesigned dash and seat brackets. Overall the 2021 model 450C offers more space and features, all based on the same well proven hull and construction techniques that DNA are known for. The 16 deg hull is built using 4mm plate with 2.5mm for the sponsons, giving a dry weight of 255 kg and approx tow weight of 485kg.
