Klaxon diesel outboards are now offering a full range of engines from 10 to 150hp.
While rarely spotted amongst the boating venues of New Zealand, the Chinese built Klaxon diesel outboards have been proving popular overseas. There seems to be demand for new 10-150hp engines, especially to the offshore oil drilling fraternity.
Here they use the Klaxon diesel outboards to propel their RIBs type and where ever else that for safety reasons, petrol outboard motors are forbidden.
For their 60 to 150hp Klaxon Diesel Outboard Motors, the company uses a German diesel engine manufacturer based in Bavaria, Germany. Primarily known for its small, lightweight and robust engines, the engines are mainly used in all kinds of small construction machinery, generators or pumps.

Engines are available in 1,2,3 or 4 cylinders in a wide range of horsepower ratings. There is a 36 months warranty for the new European engines.
