The first of the new models is now in production in their Whangarei factory. Project K JP Ribs can reach up to 50 knots and a cruise of around 26 knots with twin Mercury 450hp V8 XL Verados. Other twin outboard packages are available, through to the new V12 600 on the larger models.
Designed by Anastasia Yacht Design, the JP Custom tenders are based on a 23deg deep-vee hull with a plum rise bow. There are two beam options available, a standard 3.57m or a wide-bodied 4.5m. JP custom tenders are constructed with gel coat in the moulds and full vinyl ester resin throughout. The tubes are manufactured in New Zealand and are custom-made using ORCA Hypalon fabric. The tubes have six chambers with pressure release valves and grab handles with additional rope handles that can be added if required. All tubes are CE approved.
A convenient cabin includes a head and accommodation spaces to get out of the weather or for overnighting. Combining a slick finish and high spec technology, with care and attention that comes through hand moulding by craftsmen with an impeccable pedigree.
