Princess Yachts, the UK’s largest yacht manufacturer, has announced it is again joining forces with Oceanographic Magazine to support this year’s Ocean Photography Awards 2022

Following on from the incredible success and outstanding quality of last year’s submissions, the Ocean Photography Awards have become a fixed event on the marine conservation calendar. With a shared passion for sustainability and conservation, Princess Yachts is again involved with this year’s Awards and will continue its partnership with Oceanographic Magazine.

The Ocean Photographer of the Year has a simple mission: to shine a light on the beauty of the ocean and the threats it faces, all while raising money for its protection. The awards present a unique opportunity for all ocean photographers to showcase standout imagery to celebrate the world’s oceans and highlight the many plights they are facing. Entrants can submit their images from 8th April until 30th June 2022. Winners, including the overall winner – the Ocean Photographer of the Year 2022 – will be announced in September. A stunning London exhibition will follow, where all winning images will be put on public display. The collection will be free to visit. More than a million people enjoyed last year’s exhibition. The full judging panel is Paul Nicklen, Cristina Mittermeier, Shawn Heinrichs, Andy Mann, David Doubilet and Sadie Quarrier. The Ocean Photographer of the Year 2022 is produced by Oceanographic Magazine, in partnership with Blancpain, Princess Yachts and Tourism Western Australia, and in support of SeaLegacy.
