Horizon Yacht Australia (HYAUS) showcased the new Fast Displacement (FD) 80 Skyline at the 2022 Sydney International Boat Show (SIBS) with outstanding success.
The company say that during the show the FD80 on display was sold and two new custom built FD80’s were sold including a Horizon FD80 Skyline which will be built to AMSA 2C Survey giving the client the opportunity for a charter business.
This will be the third Horizon Yacht, The Horizon Yard in Taiwan has built to AMSA survey for Australian clients.
Horizon Yacht Australia Director Mark Western stated “The FD Series and vessels built to survey has dominated the enquiry over the past 18 months”.
The FD80 is known for its contemporary style lines, versatile use of space and well-planned interior and exterior areas. Specified for the Australian market, the latest FD80 that was on display during SIBS features a four-stateroom layout and many notable contemporary interior design features.
The new FD80 Skyline offers all of the signature elements of this mid-size high-volume model, such as expansive floor-to-ceiling sections of glass on the main deck, spacious accommodations, a fully equipped beach club and vast deck areas. Uniquely, this is the first FD80 to offer an open galley design, which further enhances the significant feeling of spaciousness that the FD Series design affords.
