Wayne Valder continues his winning ways on US APBA Offshore championship.

With another win under his belt last weekend at St Peterburg, Florida, Kiwi Wayne Valder is now well placed to once again take out the coverted US1 title. With just one race at Clearwater (Sep 23-25) left on the APBA championship, Wayne and throttleman Grant Bruggemann are sitting on 295 points, well clear of the MCon team on 247pts and WHM Motorsports with 199 points.

The points for the US1 title are slightly different with MCon on 388pts, Graydel ion 383pts and Profloors with 382 points.

With two wins now for the season the Kiwi/US team have shown some superior boat handling in both the rougher and calm races. Pro Floors at 44ft is the biggest boat in the class and that has certainly come in handy on the rougher courses.

Wayne says that the race for US1 is close and there’s not much in it! “It’s still a bit of a gamble but we’d like to think we are comfortable at the moment, but anything can change”.

Best of luck from your Kiwi fans.
