Bennington one of the world’s premier luxury pontoon boat manufacturer is now available in New Zealand.
Bennington a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Inc a Global leader in the Powersports industry, is one of three brands of the Marine Division of Polaris Inc which includes Godfrey and Hurricane. Bennington Boats are manufactured in Indiana USA and distributed locally in Australia and New Zealand via the Bennington subsidiary and a network of appointed Bennington Marine Dealers.
Bennington is a luxury and high-performance Pontoon boat, manufactured using an aluminium tri-hull design concept which aids stability, maneuverability, and overall performance.
Bennington has developed a fully welded aluminium construction which when combined with thicker cross channels, solid deck construction and unique fastening system ensures a strong and rigid structure.Hull features include a shallow draft, performance foils placed on the bottom side of the tubes to provide hydrodynamic lift and lifting strakes. Bennington’s Wavetamer is also known as an underdeck wave shield, that deflects water from the bottom of the deck which, reduces “surging” and enhances a soft quiet ride in rough water while also increasing top speed.
Bennington manufactures four different series of Pontoon models – S, L, R and the top of the range Q Series. The Q Series – is the premier choice in style, class and luxury for boaters wanting the ultimate luxurious boating experience. Models from 23 to 30’ feet in length. The R Series – offers the broadest range of performance and luxury options with above deck and below deck customised features. Models from 22 to 30’ feet in length.
The L Series – is the soul of Bennington’s lineup with a long list of standard equipment features, options and floor plans. Models from 18 to 26’ feet in length. The S Series – is the most popular selling pontoon boat in North America with the widest selections of floor plans and features. Models from 16 to 25 feet in length.
Bennington boats are delivered with a suitable Horsepower Outboard engine suited to the customers’ needs and boat configuration. In New Zealand, Yamaha, Mercury and Suzuki engines will be supported.
Polaris Australia & New Zealand is headquartered in Melbourne Australia but with staffing, warehouse and distribution facilities locally in New Zealand. Bennington New Zealand is currently setting up a dealer network to service both North and South Islands. They will be announcing specific Bennington Boat dealer appointments in the coming months.
Bennington New Zealand is expecting its first top-of-the-line demonstrator boat to arrive in December.
