Hercules’ e-drive is a plug-and-play system that was designed from the ground up.

Hercules Electric Mobility, founded in the USA, is on pace to begin delivery of its high-performance electric propulsion system for recreational and light commercial vessels as early as mid 2023. The Hercules e-drive system can be installed in the hull of nearly any inboard or sterndrive vessel.
The new drive system uses Li-Ion and solid-state batteries to bring cutting edge battery technology to the marine market. Hercules has the ability to modify or restrict horsepower output based on software. Your boat can also become a backup power source for your home using bi-directional chargers.
If you are looking to re-power or get new power for your boat the Hercules e-Drive system electric powertrain can be configured to fit almost any boat taking up a fraction of the space of a combustion motor. The Hercules e-Drive system is more efficient, environmentally friendly, and requires less maintenance.
The Hercules e-Drive system utilises powerful permanent magnet motors, all digital drive-by-wire controls, and up to 94kWh of battery storage for all day power. Hercules marine packages include state of the art on-board chargers to charge your craft using 110V, 220V outlets or auto industry fast chargers. This system also acts as a 12V battery to power all your stereos, marine electronics, and accessories all day long. We even have integrated solar charging systems coming soon.
The company plans a product range from 10 to over 250 hp, which requires only configuring the software system at the time of installation. They can also be configured for the style of boating an owner prefers. For fishing, there is a precision troll mode where the pilot can select a precise RPM to deliver the exact trolling speed.
For the watersports enthusiast, there is a tow-sports mode to give the maximum amount of torque, giving tow-sports a great hole shot. For performance enthusiasts, Hercules has developed a “turbo” like mode to deliver maximum peak power for a burst of high-speed exhilaration that a traditional gas engine just can’t deliver, and with peak power ratings nearing 500hp, the company claims.
