TRANSFORMARINE/DREADNORT SHARE PRELIM DESIGN

23.95m Long Range Sports Fisher.

Blair Lewis, Naval Architect from Transformarine, had a request for a preliminary design back at the end of 2019 for a long range, displacement hull, composite sports fisher with all the comforts of home that could easily cruise the Pacific.

The design ended up with a five cabin layout, master on the main deck, three cabins on the lower deck and a captain’s cabin up on the bridge deck.  The large main saloon with plenty of seating on the main deck amidships for relaxing, flows into the U-shaped galley with bar leaners forward.  A separate walk in pantry to port includes an exterior door for loading stores easily.

An outdoor entertaining area overlooks the cockpit with a day head, conveniently located outside on the main deck, means that you aren’t trancing through the vessel whilst fishing.  A large lazerette, accessed from the cockpit, is set up for all the fishing gear and freezer space.  This could easily be converted to a crew cabin for two.

Plenty of seating on the bridge deck and flybridge expands the entertaining areas, handy when there are kids on board or if parents are looking for a quiet area. The vessel is designed with a bulbous bow for efficient cruising, stabilisers for comfort and bow/stern thrusters for effortless manoeuvring in the marinas.
