Fletch’s Boat Tip Of The Week

TURBO BEANIE

I highly recommend adding a Turbo Beanie if you are running an inboard Diesel, these little turbo jackets isolate the heat produced by the turbocharger and reduces temperature build-up under the engine cover.

These high temperatures can damage plastic fittings, rubber hoses and electrical wiring as well as painted surfaces.

Pro Tip: you can pick up a Turbo Beanie from your local performance car shop for around $80, remember to provide them with a make/model of the turbo you are running on your Diesel.
