McLay Boats is excited to announce the official launch of its newest model, the 621 Sportsman Hardtop, which will be on display for the first time at the 2025 Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show. This model has been developed to bridge the gap in the popular Sportsman Hardtop range gap. It sits comfortably between the smaller 591 and 591XL models and the larger 651, offering a perfect blend of space, functionality, and performance.
The 621 Sportsman Hardtop provides 50mm more cabin space and 250mm more deck space than the 591, along with an additional 30mm in side height and 20mm wide, making it a spacious and versatile option for boaties.

Built to appeal to a broad market, the 621 suits everyone, from dedicated offshore anglers to families who enjoy inshore boating. It is designed with both performance and practicality in mind, making it an ideal all-rounder.
The 621 Sportsman Hardtop price starts at $83,000 and includes an impressive standard package comprising a 9-inch GPS/Sounder, VHF radio, a Mercury 115 CT outboard, and a high-quality Toko trailer. This package offers outstanding value and performance in its class.
McLay offers a comprehensive range of optional accessories for those looking to personalise their vessel to suit individual preferences and boating needs. The model on show at Hutchwilco has been fitted with several standout additions, including the newly released Mercury 150R V6 outboard in white, U-Deck rubber flooring, and a painted cabin that matches the engine — giving it a sleek, head-turning appearance that’s sure to impress show visitors.

The 621 Sportsman Hardtop is a testament to McLay’s commitment to innovation and quality, and it promises to be a major draw at this year’s show.
