Boaties in the UK and Ireland are set to benefit from a new partnership between New Zealand company Tectrax and leading British trailer manufacturer SBS Trailers. The agreement marks Tectrax’s first international partnership and introduces its fully electric, remote-controlled Boat-Launcher™ system to northern hemisphere markets.
Driven by strong global interest, Tectrax has chosen SBS Trailers to support the rollout of its technology across the UK and Ireland. The Boat-Launcher™, the world’s first fully electric, remote-controlled launch-and-retrieval system, is designed to make getting on and off the water much simpler. Using 100% electric drive wheels, the system removes the need for a tow vehicle on the ramp. With a handheld remote, owners can manoeuvre their boat and trailer with accuracy and control, reducing common challenges such as reversing, tight angles, and slippery surfaces. By streamlining these steps, the Boat-Launcher™ helps minimise typical ramp frustrations and allows both new and experienced boaters to launch with greater confidence and convenience.
