FLITE AND AXOPAR LAUNCH EFOILING BOARD DESIGNED SPECIFICALLY FOR BOATERS

Flite and Axopar have joined forces in a strategic collaboration to introduce a new kind of eFoiling experience for boaters. Designed for those who want to explore further, reach new locations and add a new layer of adventure to life on the water, the result is the Flite AIR x Axopar board. Previewed as a prototype for the first time at Boot Düsseldorf 2026, this purpose-built evolution of the Flite AIR platform combines refined design with boater-focused functionality, integrating seamlessly into the Axopar experience.

At the heart of the partnership is a shared vision to create new adventures, attract new boaters and inspire people to experience nature in different ways. Both brands are driven by innovation, accessibility and exploration, with a mutual ambition to expand how life on the water is enjoyed.

“Axopar has set the benchmark in adventure boats and Flite has been focused on pushing the boundaries of electric hydrofoiling performance,” says Nick Stickler, President of Flite. “Together, we are combining that innovation to deliver a premium eFoil solution that feels engineered into the boat from day one, rather than added on later.”

When paired with an Axopar vessel, the Flite AIR x Axopar transforms the boat into a mobile base. Riders can foil in locations often inaccessible from shore, from quiet bays and narrow passages to remote coastlines, opening up entirely new possibilities for exploration.

“Bringing a Fliteboard onto a boat expands what’s possible on the water,” adds Axopar Founding Partner Jan-Erik Viitala. “With the boat as your base, you can reach new environments and enjoy the water in ways that simply aren’t possible without combining these two worlds.”

Unlike standard eFoils developed primarily for beach launches, the Flite AIR x Axopar board has been engineered specifically for boating life. The aim was to evolve the Flite AIR into something easier to handle and store, more durable around docks and hulls, and more welcoming for beginners, while remaining capable of genuine exploration.

Purpose-built features include a secure bungee system, branded dry bag, attachment points for safely tying the board alongside the boat, and a forward gear strap for carrying small personal items. Reinforced deck and nose protection, intuitive grab points and practical tie-off solutions ensure confidence and ease of use on the water.

Inspired by the Finnish Archipelago of Kasnäs, the custom deck pad features laser-cut seafloor topography, while a colour palette aligned with Axopar’s latest design language ensures seamless visual integration with the boat.
