Frigomar is an Italian marine systems manufacturer with a long history in marine air conditioning and refrigeration, known for combining compact design, energy efficiency and advanced technology tailored to boats and yachts of all sizes. Their air conditioning product range includes self-contained units and centralised systems suitable for independent installations or larger, integrated climate solutions on boats.
A standout feature of many Frigomar systems is variable-speed inverter technology (often BLDC), which lets compressors adjust their output smoothly rather than cycling on and off like traditional systems. This translates into up to about 50 % higher energy efficiency, quieter operation, stable temperature control and lower power consumption, making them especially attractive where power is limited, such as on sailboats or vessels running off battery banks.
Frigomar offers models that run on both AC (115–230 V) and DC (12/24/48 V), allowing flexibility in installation and power source. Their units are compact, lightweight and designed for easy installation, with features like detachable electrical boxes and touchscreen thermostats, helping to maximise onboard comfort without sacrificing space. Beyond individual units, Frigomar also supports centralised chillers and fan coils for larger vessels, plus a global sales and service network for design, installation and maintenance support.
