Dutch equipment manufacturer and distributor Vetus-Maxwell demonstrating its latest electric propulsion solution at the recent on SCIBS

For the first time at SCIBS, an operational Vetus E-Line system display will be up and running on the Vetus-Maxwell booth. It will be linked and controlled by a multifunction display to showcase the ease of compatibility for onboard integration purposes.

The 48V E-Line range enables silent, environmentally friendly cruising with exceptional manoeuvring capabilities, with full control enabled by Vetus’s Active Electronic Braking. Available in three models with output power of 5kW-10kW, the system packages are said to be ideal as standard shaft-driven in-board diesel engine replacements for re-power projects and for new builds.

“Sanctuary Cove is always a fantastic opportunity for us to talk about the full range of our product line and demonstrate our latest innovative technology to new and current customers,” says Troy Goodwin-Smith, sales manager at Vetus-Maxwell Pty Ltd. “With interest in electric propulsion continuing to grow, the E-Line system is an ideal solution for any boat owner looking for an environmentally friendly system which is easy to install and maintain.”
