Auckland Boat Show Growing

by admin

There will be plenty of alloy boats on display.

The Auckland Boat Show is back, and for 2020 has a new format and venue.

Changing to 8-11th October and moving the inside portion of the show to The Cloud and Shed 10, while on-water exhibitors will be found in the Viaduct Harbour Marina, this year’s Auckland Boat Show will showcase the best of New Zealand marine after a unique year.

“We’re looking forward to giving the New Zealand boating public a place to see the latest releases, Kiwi innovations, new vessels and meet the marine industry; all in one spot,” says organiser Stacey Cook.

“We’re hearing feedback that plenty of New Zealanders are planning more time spent on the water this year, and we’re excited to match them with exhibiting companies coming through this time with innovation.”

The new Tristram 821 Offshore will have its first public release.

Moving the show has created more space for interior exhibitors which means greater numbers of local industry companies able to exhibit, and engage in the interaction the show is known for. Exhibitors found in Shed 10 and The Cloud cover a wide range of marine needs including water sports, anti-fouling, engines, fishing gear, marine electronics, safety gear and other equipment to make the most of time on the water.

Look for a number of boats from Elite Marine design.

The show’s sea trial area will return, giving show goers the chance to experience select trailer boats, RIBS, amphibious boats and other vessels on display. Always popular with punters, sea trials give buyers the ability to see how a boat moves and performs on the water with exhibiting companies in the sea trial area heading out onto the Hauraki Gulf with interested visitors.

Make sure you call in and say hello. We are in The Cloud.

Tickets are on sale now and each online ticket purchase puts the buyer in the draw to win from a prize pool of marine goodies.
