Azimut Yachts New Zealand has confirmed the sale of Magellano 30 Metri, to a New Zealand buyer, the first to be sold into the Asia Pacific Region.
With hull number one just launched at the end of January at Azimut’s Viareggio shipyard, the new Magellano 30 Metri see’s Magellano designer Ken Freivokh handling the exterior design and volumes and Vincenzo De Cotiis styling the interiors.
Equipped with Azimut’s Dual Mode Hull, the Magellano 30 Metri offers high stability at sea and 15% reduced fuel consumption compared to traditional hard chine planing hulls.
The new Magellano is spread across three decks, with sizeable outdoor living spaces complimented by huge windows – over 70 sq. m of glazed surfaces – also ensure uninterrupted visual continuity between the interior spaces and the surrounding natural environment.
Magellano 30 Metri boasts a five-cabin layout, with three crew cabins.
Twin 1550hp MAN engines will achieve a top speed of up to 20 knots and a cruise of 16 knots.
With the New Zealand destined hull already in build, it is expected that it will arrive in Auckland late in 2022.
