Azimut wins The Design Innovation Award for 2023.
The Italian Marine Industry Association and I Saloni Nautici awarded Azimut with the Design Innovation Award 2023. The new Magellano 60, a yacht with an innovative and conscious approach, is the winner in the “Motor yachts over 14m LH” category. During the Genoa Boat Show 2023, the jury of the Design Innovation Award honoured the best projects that embody excellence in the yachting industry by combining innovation and design.
During the awards ceremony held recently at the Palazzo della Borsa in Genoa, Azimut’s new Magellano 60 was named winner in the ‘Motor Yachts over 14m LH’ category. Azimut Magellano 60 was awarded the prize by the jury, made up of national and international experts from various sectors, “for its Dual Mode hull that allows optimisation of consumption and emissions, and for the living solutions that offer navigation that is attentive to the quality of life on board“.
Magellano 60 is a crossover designed for owners who love long voyages full of adventure and charm. This 60-footer stands out for the large spaces on board, generous without compromising the elegance. The cockpit is configured as a natural extension of the large lounge on the main deck and the stern transforms into a terrace capped with a transparent parapet that creates an infinity terrace.
The crossover soul of the Magellano 60 is also through the high efficiency Dual Mode semi-planning hull, which allows navigation at low speeds in total comfort but also to handle higher speeds by attenuating the impact of the waves and optimizing consumption and emissions.
