Smuggler Marine is pleased to announce the appointment of respected marine industry professional Calvin Clements as Operations Manager. With more than 30 years of experience in the marine industry, Clements brings extensive knowledge spanning diving, fishing, marine electronics, vessel operations, and customer support to the factory-based role at Smuggler Marine. His broad industry experience, combined with a practical, hands-on approach, makes him a valuable addition to the Smuggler team.
In addition to his commercial experience, Clements has served as a Training Officer and Training Skipper with Papakura Volunteer Coastguard, where he played a key role in developing Search and Rescue (SAR) capability and helping train the next generation of volunteer crews. His passion for boating safety and operational excellence aligns closely with Smuggler Marine’s commitment to building capable, dependable vessels.
