Carbon Tenders are proud to introduce their new range of rigid carbon fibre tenders to the market. These carbon fibre, foam-core tenders are designed and built to safely and efficiently transport people, while remaining light enough to roll up a beach and stow on a yacht or launch.
The carbon construction allows them to create a lightweight, efficient hull featuring a V-shaped bow that transitions into a broad planing surface, with lift strakes and sharp chines. This design delivers excellent planing performance with a smaller outboard, resulting in a lighter, more efficient package. Each tender incorporates full buoyancy tanks that can easily support both crew and outboard in the event of a capsize or swamping. Around the gunwale, they’ve integrated a fabric-covered foam fender to protect both the tender and the mothership.
A key benefit is the ability to land on a sandy beach and wheel your tender clear of the waves and tide, all by yourself, no longer needing a team to haul or relaunch. Compact size and light weight also make lifting onto davits or the foredeck effortless. The pram bow design provides generous internal volume and planing area comparable to a tender 200–300 mm longer with a sharp bow. With a secure forward locker, a unique drop-down wheel system operated from inside the boat (no more leaning over the transom), ample stowage, and true rowing capability, Carbon Tenders believe they’ve created a proper little boat for the market. Their range includes 2.8 m, 3.1 m, and 3.4 m models, suitable for outboards from 3 hp up to 15 hp.
