Chaparral will have two of their Premium OSX outboard range on display for the first time at this year’s Sanctuary Cove Boat Show. Alongside other popular Chaparral models, the 250 and 280 OSX outboard bowriders will make their East Coast debut with Queensland Chaparral dealer Spirit Marine, as part of their large on water display.
The 280 OSX is a genuine crossover boat with twin 250hp outboards, high end cruising comforts and smart social fishing features. Highly contented with hardtop, electronics package, wet bar, toilet and flexible cockpit layout, the 280 OSX is one of Chaparrals best sellers worldwide. The single engine 250 OSX is the smallest in the OSX lineup, also highly contented with electric folding wake tower, toilet, flexible cockpit layout and premium finishes.
Scott O’Hare from Chaparral Australia is excited about this year’s line up saying; ‘Chaparral have exhibited at Sanctuary Cove every year since 2010 and this year we believe we have the perfect mix for Queensland boaters to consider. The two new OSX models are suitable for offshore use with deep V hulls, high freeboard, self-draining cockpits, tall windscreens and big fuel capacities, which combine to make the perfect boat for a run out to the islands or up the coast to your favourite hidey hole. All Chaparrals are built ‘Saltwater Tough’ with quad radial lamination, Kevlar reinforcing, 316 grade stainless fittings, loom wrapped tinned wiring with triple sealed connectors, high-end gelcoats, silicone upholstery, and so many other standard features that are a cut above the competition and important for Aussie boaters, says O’Hare.
