The semi-displacement range of Classic Trawlers are now available in New Zealand.
The Classic Trawler range consists of the Classic 45 and Classic 49 models, both pilothouse designs with two or three cabins and one or two heads. Both models are highly customisable to suit the owners specifications, and utilise the latest equipment from around the world.
These vessels are ideal for passage making or liveaboard, with large full-width interiors, high ceilings, large fuel and water tanks, and economical displacement cruising. The propellors are fully protected with the full-length skeg.
Low maintenance is prioritised with such things as solid fibreglass hulls with no coring, vinyl ester resins in the outer layers of the hull, and epoxy barrier coats.
The standard power for your Classic Trawler is a single 305hp QSB 6.7L Cummins common rail electronic diesel engine, through shafts. Larger engines are available for greater top-end speed where required, but the standard engine is a good choice for the semi-displacement hull form. Twin engines and stabilisers are available in the larger 49 model.
