It has been a busy year for Elite Marine design with three new custom builds hitting the water plus another Elite AT 43.

The first of these was the 15.8m sedan ‘Bliss’ built in Opua by Blue Fix Boat works powered by twin Cummins QSB 485hp retuning 30kts. Bliss features a full width master stateroom and ensuite which is cleverly incorporated into this low-profile design. Bliss also has a tender garage for a 3m tender. The finishing timber is high gloss walnut. Look for the full boat review in the Jan/Feb 2024 issue of PowerBoat magazine.

Following a few months later was the 18m Mid Pilothouse ‘Zaphira’ from Lloyd Stevenson Boat Builders. She is a stunning looking vessel with her Aroura metallic hull colour. Power comes from twin MAN i6 800hp and has a Twin Disc EJS docking system making manoeuvring and berthing easy for the owners. Zaphira has an effortless cruise of 21kts and a sprint speed approaching 30kts fully laden. Fit out is outstanding and luxurious with oak timber joinery.

Weber Marine of Gulf Harbour have just launched the 15.8m mid pilothouse ‘Hijack’ which is fully rigged for sport fishing and family cruising. Hijack’s power comes from twin D8 Volvo Pentas rated at 600hp returning 29kt sprint speed. Her interior joinery is oak stained to a rich deep colour enhancing the grain highlighted by the modern contemporary colours and fabrics. Hijack is loaded with Simrad electronics and has a full CZone electrical control system.
