Team Taiatini participated in the 2023 National Powerboat Championship last weekend at Lake Karapiro with great success.

Dani Taiatini (17) secured  first place after competing in her first year of Senior Clubman’s (Stock 30hp) in “The Taniwha”. Racing against the top NZ eight drivers including three former class champions, she won all three heats. Dani was the reigning 2022 Junior Champion and said that the competition was definitely a big step up.

On day two, big sister Brooklyn competed against the same field, in the same boat, “The Taniwha”, in a non-championship round and recorded the same results.
