 The Island Gypsy 40 features twin cabins plus a convertible bed in the saloon, offering accommodation for up to seven guests. It boasts a generously sized cockpit featuring seating for seven and a spacious saloon for easy entertaining.
Powered by an economic Steyr 280hp diesel shaft drive engine, fuel consumption is 15lph at 8-10 knots. The maximum speed is 14 knots, with the boat holding 800 litres of fuel and 700 litres of water. The Newport 40 has keel protection, 4hp bow and stern thrusters, generator and full air conditioning. LOA is 12.19m, with a beam of 3.96m, a draft of 1.25m and displacement of 12000kg
