JP MARINE LAUNCH PROJECT K 9.1

by admin

JP RIBS has announced the release of a new model in their Project K collection.

Project K 9.1 is a specialist superyacht line of bespoke tenders tailor-made to meet the client’s and crew’s requirements. Fully customisable, they are hand-crafted in New Zealand and combine world-leading performance with an individual approach.

Knowing that Kiwis love to use their vessels in all seasons, Directors Jonny and Phil Edgar saw the need for a high quality, all-weather, family-sized RIB that focuses on giving clients a better option for all-year-round boating. They have used the sleek, luxury design of their K series tenders while adding several practical features to create the ultimate New Zealand RIB.

There is no denying this is a vessel created for an excellent ride in rough sea conditions. Designed for the New Zealand elements, the Project K 9.1M Cabin incorporates a 23-degree deep V-shaped hull with a plumb bow and wide chines with an additional 90mm flange for added stiffness and greater support for the tubes.

Keeping in mind the need to get out of the wind, the new model has been developed with wraparound tubes to allow maximum beam in the cabin, which has room for a double bunk, separate toilet and small kitchenette. Whether you are using the cabin for overnighters or keeping the kids dry, this additional space will be regularly used.

Not only have they specially designed this vessel for New Zealand boating, but all JP RIBS are hand-moulded and completely customisable, giving the owner complete autonomy to create a bespoke vessel that incorporates their taste in design as well as the features that are important to them.

The Project K 9.1M Cabin release is another excellent example of Kiwi companies striving for excellence and providing innovative and exciting products for the marine market.
