Round 8, the last round of the NZBMC, was hosted by the Milton Boat Club on Saturday, the 26th July, on Lake Waihola. Ideal conditions greeted the 21 boats racing in both speed classes and nominated speed events. There was an average of 18 boats per event over the 8 race series including 4 North Island Boats: Graham Pike ( LJHooker), Brett Archer (Secret Agent), Tim Follows (Mans Ruin), Simon Morrison (Lords Rival).
