Legacy Marine have launched the first model in a range of high-end aluminium motor yachts in their home port of Whakatane.
Established by the owners of Extreme Boats, Legacy Marine have four models in the range from the L35 right up to the flagship L70 (pictured) to cater for those wishing to travel further and spend longer on the water.
Just over 21m in length and powered by twin 1900 HP V12 MAN diesels the L70 is a striking vessel and with 9000L of underfloor fuel – will have a serious range.
Fully air conditioned with a gyro stabiliser, fresh water maker and finished to a level second to none there will be no hurry to return back to land.
The first L35 which is the smallest member of the fleet is nearing completion and the first L45 has just began also, so this will be an exciting journey for Legacy Marine and the New Zealand boat building industry to watch unfold.
