Legacy Marine Announce 2 New Builds

Legacy Marine a division of Extreme Boats based in Whakatane is well underway with their first of a range of larger aluminium launches. 

They are currently working on a 70ft Sport Fishing vessel and a 45ft sedan cruiser which are both scheduled to be completed in late 2021.

The Legacy 70 is currently well into build and will be powered by twin 2000HP V12 MAN diesels with 9000L of fuel capacity. Equipped with a gyro stabiliser, water maker, salt ice maker, dive compressor, and fully air conditioned this will be a vessel destined for those interested in long range expeditions with speed and comfort in mind.

The Legacy 45 is a sedan cruiser that will be optioned with twin Cummins QSB 540HP inboards with conventional shaft driveline, or twin Volvo IPS pod drives with 2000L of fuel capacity and 500L of fresh water. With a concealed tender garage beneath the aft cock pit floor leaving the deck uncluttered and accommodation quarters for 6-8 people this will be a vessel that will appeal to those looking for an easy to handle launch to explore islands and spend relaxing time on the water.
