LOCAL SALES EXPERT TO LEAD L&B’S WHANGAREI BRANCH SALES

by admin

In response to strong regional growth and increasing demand from local and visiting boat owners wanting more expert technical advice and a wider range of marine equipment, Lusty & Blundell has introduced a new key senior sales role at their busy Whangarei branch. Paul Parsonage has now been appointed Senior Internal Sales. He will lead the Whangarei branch’s sales, ensuring customers benefit from his experience and high levels of product knowledge while also supporting key Pacific Islands customers and managing exports from the busy branch.

Paul, who has been with the company for over three years, has more than 25 years’ experience in chandleries. With a deep and wide-ranging depth of knowledge of all types of marine equipment and, more recently, in RV and off-grid technology, Paul says he really enjoys working with and finding solutions for customers whom he has known for many years.

An experienced and enthusiastic short-handed sailor, Paul is also an ex-commercial skipper and ex-master SCUBA instructor who still sails and dives whenever he can.

“I was born into a boating family,” he says. “Marine has been my life.”

Cameron Maher, L&B’s sales director, says Paul is renowned for his decades of involvement in the Northland boating, off grid and RV communities.

“That involvement, along with his support of L&B’s Pacific Islands marine industry partners and the large number of local and international sailors who migrate across the Pacific Ocean, make him a huge asset for both the company and the thousands of local and visiting boat owners.”
