Maritimo has ended the year on a strong note shipping six luxury motor yachts to their overseas owners who are eagerly awaiting their early New Year arrival.
The $15 million shipment left Brisbane last week and will be delivered over the next four weeks. The vessels included an M51, X60 and X50 for the USA, plus an M51, M64 and an X50 for New Zealand.Â
Maritimo General Manager Operations, Phil Candler, said all the owners were very excited that their vessels had left Australia and were on their way.
“With Covid restrictions, none of them has been able to visit the factory to see their boat’s progress personally, so they are counting the days until their arrival,” he said.
“The shipment caps off a massive year for us, so it is a positive way to round off 2020.”
He said multiple orders secured in recent months have further bolstered Maritimo’s forward order pipeline, which is now at record levels for the brand.Â
Maritimo recently revealed the S55 Sedan Motor yacht set for its world premiere in May 2021, and it has attracted interest internationally.
 “The new S55 brings together the combined skills and expertise of world-class Maritimo craftspeople and epitomises our corporate culture and unyielding commitment to reaching motor yacht perfection,” said Candler.
He said interest was high across the range of Maritimo models with sales of the M series flybridge motor yachts and the sedan series all strong.
