Among the standout models on display were the 3 Global launches: the Maritimo S50 Sedan, alongside the Caribbean 40 Flybridge and Caribbean 27 Flybridge. Maritimo showcased six luxury motor yachts at the event, collectively valued at more than $38 million, including a bespoke M75 Flybridge with an estimated value of around $10 million.
Further strengthening Maritimo’s presence within the marine manufacturing sector was founder Bill Barry-Cotter’s acquisition of the iconic Caribbean brand in April 2025, along with the relocation of Caribbean’s manufacturing operations from Victoria to Queensland. The move was seen as a significant development for the industry, reinforcing the Gold Coast’s position as Australia’s largest marine manufacturing hub.
During the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, held from May 21–24, Maritimo expected to welcome around 1,000 visitors through its on-water display and anticipated strong market interest throughout the event.
