New Season And New Host For Tradezone Addicted To Fishing

Fans of TradeZone Addicted to Fishing can look forward to a new season of the popular TV fishing show starting on Prime TV on April 18.

They’ll be treated to a new host too, as long-time host and creator Nicky Sinden announces Kelvin ‘KC’ Cruickshank has joined the show as her new co-host. The forthcoming seventh season of TradeZone Addicted to Fishing features both Nicky Sinden and well-known psychic medium Kelvin Cruickshank as co-hosts for many of its 13 episodes.

Cruickshank, who is best known in New Zealand for his appearances on TV show Sensing Murder, where psychics help solve cold case murders, says he hopes to inject a mix of his fishing passion with some fresh new ideas never seen before on fishing television shows.

Sinden says viewers are in for a treat when the new season of TradeZone Addicted to Fishing hits Prime TV again in its usual 5pm Saturday slot, starting 18 April.

“This season will blow all our other seasons out of the water,” says Sinden. “There’s plenty of fishing action and we feature more incredible fishing legends from all over the country. But what’s really special is KC coming on board for the season as co-presenter. He’s a natural in front of the camera and we work really well together. This season is so different and we are excited to share it with everyone.”

Viewers who tune in on April 18 to see the first episode will be treated to a taste of landbased big game fishing, as Nicky and KC head to Tauranga Harbour to wrangle huge bronze whaler sharks off the beach.

Then on 25 April, the pair share their secrets for hunting down monster snapper, followed by a fishing and diving trip to Whitianga for the Extreme Boats Tournament in the next episode.

Cruickshank, who is a keen scuba diver as well as a fisherman, says: “This season we are doing a lot more under the water, with five episodes where we are spearfishing or scuba diving. It’s been a blast to film Season 7 with Nic and I’m excited to kick into gear with the following season as well.”

Tune in to the new season of TradeZone Addicted to Fishing from 18 April, at 5pm Saturdays on Prime TV. Episodes will also be available on YouTube – follow TradeZone Addicted to Fishing on social media for updates.
