Manufactured in China, by one of the world’s fastest growing outboard companies, the Parsun 90 is the largest engine in the Parsun 2-stroke range, which starts at 2hp. The 90hp offers an excellent power to weight ratio, and at 119kgs is the lightest of all the 90hp engines. It has the same design of basic 1140cc, DOHC, 3-cylinder block as the Yamaha 90A. Most engine parts are also interchangeable between the two engines.
Each major component part such as cylinder head, and gearbox is tested and re-tested at the factory before it is fitted to the engine, and once complete, each Parsun marine engine is test-run for one hour to ensure quality and trouble free operation for our distributors, dealers, and most importantly for you, the retail end customers.
The engine is set up for either a 15” or 20” transom length and has a gear ratio of 2.00. The electric trim and tilt offers a wide range and is capable of taking 17”-18” propellers.
The engine runs a CDI ignition system, thermostat controlled water cooling system and has a vibration reduction system for smooth performance.
