Quick Nautical Equipment’s 12-volt water heaters have simple fittings and produce hot water in a small boat environment.
There is an increasing demand for systems that were once only fitted to larger craft from both boat owners and manufacturers. One of the most difficult of those to provide is hot water for outboard-powered trailer craft.
Several outboard manufacturers provide an accessory part that allows the engine cooling water to divert and then be run through the heat exchanger of a water cylinder. If this is an option, it works well but generally doesn’t give high temperatures or fast warming.Â
Quick has solved that problem by manufacturing a 300w 12v element. The Quick 16l rectangular boiler can now be ordered as a 12v unit. At the same time, the element is also available to be retrofitted, an excellent option for those wishing to add extra warmth, or fast heating, to a heat exchanger system.Â
