Riviera has achieved a significant milestone with the launching of its 100 th 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition.

The 100th hull of the sleek sport yacht design has been completed, highlighting the popularity of the flagship Riviera Sport Yacht. Riviera’s constant refinement led to the release last year of the 6000, 5400 and 4800 Platinum Edition Series which created a new level of elegance and luxury.

This special 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition is being delivered by R Marine Sydney dealer representative Michael Joyce to a new owner who has a long association with Riviera motor yachts. The 6000 will be his seventh Riviera over the past 13 years, with his most recent Riviera being her sistership the 5400 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition.

Riviera Platinum Edition Sport Yachts are unmistakable in their distinctive platinum, black and white tones with a rakish style that is popular with boating enthusiasts around the world.

Throughout the Riviera 6000 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition the list of features is impressive.

The main saloon deck hard top is extended to enhance the sleekness, while also integrating an electric sunroof providing protection to the generous cockpit with twin lounges, dining table, wet bar and barbecue centre.

Below the cockpit there is a big tender garage with a built-in electric winch for easy launch or retrieval. On the foredeck, there is a large and luxurious sun lounge, a perfect place to relax.

Stepping into the saloon, the galley is located aft to port, featuring waterfall galley benchtops with stainless steel sinks and mixer tap.

Glass skylights richly illuminate the aft area of the saloon, and a radar arch allows the sunroof to slide beneath. Forward is a sunroof that, with the addition of side-opening windows and aft awning window, creates a seamless indoor-outdoor world.

New-style Recaro helm seats with Alcantara inserts with diamond feature stitching are a glamorous touch at the impressive helm station.

Below there is an atrium, that fills with light the accommodation deck to accentuate the crisp architectural look and feel. There are two layout deigns available: the Classic offers four staterooms with the master stateroom amidships and an optional lower lounge; and the palatial Presidential layout has three staterooms including a master suite that extends the full beam.

Delivering a smooth, quiet and efficient ride when cruising, the 6000 accelerates briskly to a very sporty top speed, powered by twin 10.8-litre Volvo Penta D11 IPS 950s delivering 725hp (533 Kw) each.
