Schaefer Yachts was officially launched into the Australian and New Zealand markets at the recent SCIBS
Schaefer Yachts have set the pace in yacht building for over 25 years, manufacturing with five independent factories producing twelve models ranging from 30-83 feet. They have a history of yacht building and supplying yachts globally with strong sales into the US and Europe.
Schaefer Yachts Australia Co-Founders Andy Young and Mark Johnston launched four models at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show. The V33, 375 HT, 510 GTS and the 510 GT (Flybridge) were all on display. In total, twelve models are available for order now and many can be delivered in time for the summer 2022/23.
An additional model, the 400 will be launched at the Sydney Boat Show in August 2022.
“Personally, Mark and I looked at the platform that Schaefer Yachts provides, the support and the quality of the build of these yachts and instantly knew this was something we had to bring back locally for Australians to enjoy” said Co-Founder Andy Young.
Based at d’Albora Marina, The Spit, Mosman, Schaefer Yachts Australia are keen to expand nationally and appoint sub dealers, with the first partner named as Coastwide Marine.
