by admin

The world’s first customer lead amphibious design project is getting closer to becoming a reality.

The 3.8m amphibious prototype is currently in the development phase. Sealegs are accepting fully refundable deposits for the 3.8m tender now, and once 15 deposits have been received, they will move to the production phase of the project with the first 100 tenders.

The boats will be delivered in the order that deposits have been received, with the first deliveries expected to be available late 2022.

Worldwide demand for this smallest ever new Sealegs amphibious tender is very strong. The 3.8 Tender will be the world’s smallest amphibious production boat and will be offered with either outboard or electric power options. In electric form the 3.8 Tender will have a drive time of 45 minutes and a full battery recharge of 3 hours. Land speed will be 7.5 kmh.

The side console design has seating for four/five and is equipped with lifting eyes. The 3.8 Tender has overall length of 3.8m with the wheels up and weighs 450kgs.
