Sealegs International Limited has just expanded into another new factory on Auckland’s North Shore.
The new 2,800 square meter factory adds to the three other existing premises Sealegs’ already has in Parkhead Place, Rosedale giving a total of 10,000 square meters of manufacturing space for Sealegs workforce of more than 80 full time staff.
The investment in this new facility provides increased production capacity for Sealegs’ growing operation. The new building is across the road from the existing Sealegs fabrication headquarters and just down the road from both the Sealegs production and finished amphibious craft facilities.
Record sales demand for Sealegs craft and strong global growth has led to the need for more manufacturing space. The new factory allows all the Sealegs development, manufacturing and assembly to be completed in one location on Auckland’s North Shore. This also provides a single destination to view all the different production stages providing a unique opportunity for Sealegs customers to become intimately involved in the purchasing and production process of their new Sealegs amphibious craft.
