Following on from the inaugural show last year, the Tairua Boat Show, being held this coming weekend, looks like being a fantastic event once again.
Organiser Stuart Arnold says the 2021 edition of the show has been so well supported he has sold every available space, both on water and onshore.Â
“We have a great range of boats on the marina, including a Princess 55, Nimbus 205, the new Fusion Prowler power cat and a range of Grady White boats, plus more”, says Stuart.
“I am pleased with the wide range of vessels at the show this year, from a luxury motor yacht through to small tenders and PWCs. Plus, we have just about every major trailer boat brand represented, so there is plenty to look at.
Sports Marine will not only have their Princess and Nimbus brands but also have the new COX diesel outboard on the water and ready for demos. If you are looking for an alloy boat, then you are going to be spoilt for choice. FC Boats have a vast display of all their latest models, as do Surtees, Stabicraft and Extreme. Back from Nelson is DNA Boats, and expect to see the latest from brands such as Offshore, PureKraft, Southern, Sportcraft, Lazercraft, Makaira, Senator and Blackdog Cat.
If you are more interested in fibreglass trailer boats, then there will be a full display on the water of Grady-White boats, plus the latest from Haines Hunter, Buccaneer, Jeanneau, Challenger and CSB Huntsman.
Sealegs will once again display their unique amphibious boats, plus there will be a variety of RIBs and inflatables from companies such as Takacat.
“We have plenty to see and buy for the fishing and diving enthusiasts and, of course, the latest in electronics and safety gear, so it is a real complete boat show”, says Stuart.
Sponsored by Grady White, Tairua Show is held at the Tairua Marina 13-15th August from 10 am to 5 pm.
