As the full effects of the coronavirus becomes apparent, another boat show due to be held in South East Asia has been postponed.
The organisers of Taiwan International Boat Show (TIBS), which would have been held from 12-15 March in Kaohsiung, have announced that it has been postponed and that they hope to arrange new dates for the event to be held later in the year.
This follows similar announcements from the Korea Boat Show due to have been held in Seoul, the Hong Kong Boat Show and the Singapore Yacht Show which were all to be held in March or April. The organisers of the Shanghai and Tokyo boat show are also considering moving their shows to later in the year but have yet to make a definite decision.
