Hydracell flashlights are powered by water charged batteries, leaving with no toxic footprint

The HydraCell is a water-activated oxygen fuel cell that offers longevity of shelf life, extended usage times, lower operational costs, and operates (and is disposed of) without toxic emissions – advantages that benefit both the customer and planet without compromising on product quality. The HydraCell Fuel Cell offers up to 40x the run time of a regular battery, with an impressive shelf life 25+ years.
How does it work? Dip the HydraCell for approx. 10-15 seconds in any water, this causes a chemical reaction between magnesium and oxygen, inducing an ionic exchange releasing electrons (power). These electrons are then collected by the carbon cathode collector and converted into usable power.
Plus it doesn’t have to be water. You can use almost any type of water and liquid within reason as long as it is not an oil based liquid such as cooking oil, engine oils, vegetable oils, etc. Any fresh water, salt water solution, sea water or underground water works equally as well. If in an emergency you can also use human consumable beverages.
There are no residue from the Hydra-Cell is entirely biodegradable the waste build up (which is part of the process) is Magnesium Hydroxide which is harmless if accidentally swallowed. Hydracell flashlights come in a variety of sizes from the small Aqua-Flash, a convenient, personal size aluminium LED flashlight. Powered by a proprietary, small dimension HC1D water activated Hydracell HC1D battery fuel cell, lasting up to 20 times longer than leading alkaline disposable batteries.
The Hydracell Shark waterproof light is a rugged and powerful LED portable flashlight powered by two proprietary Hydracell HC2D water activated battery fuel cells. There is also a personal mini light, ideal for the handbag, glovebox or pocket.
