Australian luxury motor yacht builder Riviera has unveiled its new 735 SUV, the flagship of its acclaimed SUV collection and the latest evolution of the company’s adventure cruising philosophy.
Combining the blue-water performance, expansive cockpit and long-range cruising capabilities of Riviera’s Sports Motor Yachts with the single-level entertaining and luxury of its Sport Yachts, the 735 SUV is designed for extended coastal cruising and relaxed weekends away.
Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst described the new model as the ultimate expression of the company’s SUV design, offering exhilarating performance, four luxurious staterooms, three ensuite bathrooms and the choice of a crew cabin or utility room.
Importantly, the 735 SUV has been designed to be comfortably handled by a couple, allowing owners to cruise with or without crew.
Central to the design is Riviera’s signature indoor-outdoor lifestyle. The expansive cockpit caters for entertaining, water sports and fishing, featuring a barbecue, wet bar and generous refrigeration. An optional boarding platform can be lowered to create steps into the water or raised to marina height.
Fishing enthusiasts can specify equipment including a live bait tank, outriggers, rod holders, electric reel outlets and insulated fish bins.
The alfresco deck forms the social heart of the yacht, with an opening saloon door and awning window creating a seamless single-level entertaining space. An electric sunroof enhances the indoor-outdoor connection, while a dedicated forward entertaining deck provides seating for eight or more guests.
Inside, the saloon features handcrafted timber cabinetry, generous lounges and a gourmet galley with premium appliances and extensive refrigeration. Below deck, accommodation comprises four staterooms, including a full-beam master suite with king-size bed, panoramic hull windows, private refreshment station and ensuite. A forward VIP stateroom also enjoys a private ensuite, while two additional guest cabins provide flexible accommodation.
A separate aft stairway provides access to the engine room and either a dedicated crew cabin or customisable utility room, ideal for storing diving, fishing and water sports equipment. The helm features advanced touchscreen navigation, excellent visibility and joystick docking controls, with a second joystick in the cockpit.
Power comes from twin MAN V12 diesels, with a choice of 2,000 hp or 2,200 hp engines. Technology options include Sentinel remote monitoring, solar charging, Humphree fin or Seakeeper 18 stabilisation, Starlink connectivity and integrated camera monitoring.
With more than 46 years of boatbuilding experience and over 6,300 luxury motor yachts launched, Riviera continues to expand its premium range from its Gold Coast manufacturing facility.
