Riviera will celebrate several “firsts” at this year’s Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. On October 29, the company will host the World Premiere of the new-generation 64 Sports Motor Yacht Series II, alongside the Americas Premiere of the 72 Sports Motor Yacht Series II and the debut of the new 4300 Sports Express. All will feature within Riviera’s impressive 12-model showcase.

According to Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst, the Series II range represents a holistic refinement of these acclaimed long-range yachts. “Our Sports Motor Yacht concept, launched in 2018, was designed for those seeking a luxurious blue-water yacht that also excelled in watersports – from fishing and diving to kayaking and paddleboarding. “Today, our collection spans six models from 46 to 72 feet. Feedback from Riviera owners worldwide has guided our design engineers to create Series II – yachts that are even more functional, luxurious and enjoyable, while delivering exhilarating sports performance and proven offshore capability.”
First launched in 2020, the 64 Sports Motor Yacht quickly became the benchmark for its class. It offered walk-around side decks, foredeck entertaining, an all-weather alfresco deck, a luxurious saloon with internal flybridge staircase, and multiple accommodation options, including a full-beam master suite and utility or crew cabin. Performance matched its engineering excellence, ensuring a smooth and efficient ride across offshore conditions. The new 64 Series II builds on these strengths with refined styling, upgraded functionality, and advanced onboard technology.

Stepping aboard via the port or starboard transom doors, owners find a generous teak-laid cockpit designed for both watersports and entertaining. The doors open out flush with the transom to extend usable space. A barbecue and wet bar sit to starboard, complemented by a large insulated freezer to port. Up a few steps, the alfresco deck becomes the central entertaining hub, offering privacy and weather protection while extending the saloon living area by a third. To port, a plush convertible lounge doubles as a daybed. A refreshments bar with icemaker and bin sits forward, while an L-shaped lounge and handcrafted teak table invite relaxed dining. An LED Smart TV folds down from the headliner for entertainment at anchor. Opening the stainless-steel-framed saloon door and awning window connects the alfresco area seamlessly to the saloon for one expansive living space.
The U-shaped galley is beautifully appointed with premium appliances, solid-surface benchtops, and handcrafted timber joinery. Features include a three-element induction cooktop, combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, rangehood, filtered sink, pull-out pantry, and full-height refrigerator with freezer drawers. Additional fridge drawers and a wine cooler ensure ample provision for extended cruising. Opposite the galley, a drinks station complements the timber staircase leading to the flybridge.
Forward, an L-shaped leather dining lounge with a folding timber table faces a matching sofa, creating an elegant and sociable saloon space. With electric blinds lowered and the Smart TV raised, the saloon transforms into a cinema lounge with premium sound system. A portside saloon door provides quick access to the side deck for mooring duties or fresh air, and also leads forward to the foredeck.
The foredeck commonly accommodates a tender, launched via a low-profile boom davit. When deployed, this area converts to a U-shaped lounge for up to eight guests, complete with stowable companion table, stereo speakers, and a euro-style awning – ideal for relaxing over brunch or evening drinks.
The fully enclosed flybridge of the 64 Series II combines commanding views with exceptional quietness underway. Its modern yet timeless styling mirrors saloon-level luxury. A plush L-shaped lounge, ottoman coffee table, and LED Smart TV create a welcoming retreat. The lounge also converts to a double bed for guests or crew. The flybridge opens to an aft deck sheltered by an extended hardtop. This versatile, all-weather area can be enclosed with Riviera’s high-quality clears or breezeway mesh and includes a wet bar, folding timber table, stainless fridge, sink, and solid-surface benchtop. An exterior helm station with joystick, and optional wheel, throttles, and navigation screen, offers excellent visibility for docking or sport fishing. Inside, the forward helm features touch-screen navigation and integrated controls for effortless operation. Curved glass windscreens provide outstanding visibility, while fully adjustable leather captain and companion chairs ensure supreme comfort. Owners may also opt for a third helm chair in place of the companion lounge. The Twin Disc Express Positioning System (EPS) integrates engines and hydraulic thrusters for precise control, maintaining station automatically in wind or current.
Owners can select from three- or four-stateroom layouts, each with three bathrooms and the choice of a utility room or crew cabin. The three-stateroom configuration adds a lower lounge in place of the fourth cabin. The full-beam master suite is spacious and elegant, featuring tinted hull windows, opening ports, queen-size island bed, chaise lounge, and ample storage including cedar-lined wardrobes and under-bed space. Additional luxuries include air-conditioning, feature headboard, Smart TV with soundbar, safe, and soft carpeting underfoot. The crew cabin/utility room, accessed via the cockpit, alfresco deck, or master wardrobe, can be tailored to individual needs. As a utility room, it’s ideal for storing dive or fishing gear. As a crew cabin, it includes a single berth, storage, air-conditioning, opening porthole, and private bathroom. A laundry station with separate washer and dryer is also located here.
The 64 Series II integrates advanced systems for convenience and safety, including Sentinel remote monitoring, Praxis Composite Solar charging, Humphree fins or Seakeeper 18 stabilisation, and Starlink internet connectivity. A high-resolution camera system provides live views of the bow, saloon, cockpit, and engine room, all visible via helm displays. Power comes from twin V12 MAN diesel engines (1,550 hp / 1,140 kW each), delivering strong performance with impressive fuel efficiency. Access to the full-height engine room is via a watertight door from the utility/crew area or lockable hatches in the cockpit and alfresco deck.
Riviera delivers all MAN-powered yachts with a five-year limited engine warranty, complemented by a seven-year structural and two-year express limited warranty, underscoring its commitment to owner confidence and care.
